Bliss

The title means happiness but the piece, in itself, pictures longing for and nearing happiness rather than actually living it...
I tried to illustrate the state of enlightenment preceding the channelling of such a strong emotion through a tight amalgam of waves coming out of a central veiled light source. The touch of blue has been added to help the objects blend with the black background pushing the attention of the viewer towards the central point of the piece. The fluidity and lightness of the forms add an aura of tranquillity to the whole picture...
